Lotussia Travel Ltd to Launch Three Day Multisport Trip to Mai Chau and Tam Coc

The Hanoi based tour operator Lotussia Travel announces today the launch of a 3-day multisport trip to Mai Chau village and Tam Coc (“Halong bay inland”).

The first highlight of the trip is Mai Chau, a beautiful village which is surrounded by lush greens and stilt houses inhabited mainly by the White Thai ethnic group. The journey from Hanoi to Mai Chau only takes about three hour and a half. Mai Chau is the closest place near Hanoi where different treks are available. The most popular hiking tours are the half-day and one-day easy hiking tour that is offered by Lotussia Travel Vietnam. The tour begins in the Poom Coong village, Mai Chau. The half-day hiking tour takes travelers through different Thai hamlets and terraced rice fields.

Another highlight of the trip is the two-hour boat trip in Tam Coc and the fun countryside cycling tour. The river trip in Tam coc is wonderful for photo hunters, especially when local people come to harvest the water rice planted along the river, or when they transplant some seedling for the next crops. The tourists often compare the place with Guilin - China, or more closely, to the limestone islets of Halong Bay in the Tonkin Gulf for their similar geological structures and shapes.

A short countryside cycle tour will be added before the trip concludes in Hanoi. The cycling route starts in Tam Coc, taking cyclists through countryside villages and rice fields.

“Joining this trip, the travelers will have the opportunity to visit Mai Chau and Tam Coc are the two most popular tourist destinations in Vietnam. Our highlight is not in the fact of visiting of these places, but the way of experiencing it. We are able to combine easy hiking and countryside cycling activities making the trip more different and exceptional. Moreover, those who book this trip before October 2011 will get a free dinner in a boutique restaurant in Hanoi.” – Said Nguyen Khuong, the company director.
